Hit up Will Rogers beach two days straight. Being on Winter break means getting as much fishing done before school begins again :lol:

Started off with LC and landed a few small perch and some smelt. Stuck with the LC for a while, until I get hammered by what I thought was a corbina turned out to be my PB perch ~14inch perch.

Went back to Will Rogers to fish with my buddy. Started off slow with a small perch and hooked up a few smelt. My buddy lands a pig perch, (his PB ~16 inches) on the LC.

Just as things are slowing down I switched to my silver prism kroc. I find a small pocket of perch and work the area thoroughly. A few minutes of working the area and my reel begins to sing. At first I thought I snagged a shovel nose or leopard shark on the tail ,but as it drew closer it turned out to be a feisty corbina. This is only my third corbina I have ever caught in my life and on the kroc too! If any can provide an explaination as to why do corbina hit kroc's but not lucky craft that would be interesting. Anyways, the corbina taped out at around 20 inches, my new PB.

Took it home for the parents 8) Catching two PBs in two days is great way end the year off.
