After a whirlwind tour of the Sierras and then directly off to the east coast, I finally have a chance to sit down and post some pics. I'll keep it short.
My wife and I were up in Mammoth for the Western Outdoor News DoubleHaul in the Fall event which we, Okuma, were sponsoring. We were invited up to be in a judge boat on Lake Crawley for the Tournament on Saturday. Leading up to tournament day we had a couple little windows of opportunity to hit the Lower Owens river for some incredible fly action. My wifes first time fly fishing. She was a little bored, but when the bite turned on, she was hooked. Here is a shot of me along the Owens.

Here is a shot of one of the monsters I caught ont he first morning.

And here is a quick shot of my wife with a monster she pulled out of the river.

Tournament day came and we were out on the water bright and early. It was a little slow in the morning, so we had a chance to troll around a bit. Here is a little Rainbow that I pulled up.

We also had a chance to get out and explore a bit. We went on a mission to find as many of the hot springs as we could. We found a few, but Hot Creek is still one of our favorite spots.

All in all, it was a nice weekend.
