Couple of S.W.A.T Surf Sessions During the Hectic Holiday Season. Plus Extra Stuff!

Before I start... I want to extend my sincerest condolences to a couple of my S.W.A.T. Brothers.
To Sid (Sidified), on the passing of his Mother and to Phuong (Blackwater), on the passing of his Father this past week.
May their souls rest in Paradise and your Holidays be filled with wonderful memories of your loved ones.


Now, on with the report...

I'm in the Retail Sales & Shipping business... so this is our busiest time of the year. :Razz:

I probably hit the surf maybe three times in the past couple of months and only for a few hours each session. Just enough to to help keep me sane during the Silly Season.

So here's a short report of a few sessions shared with a couple of my S.W.A.T. Brothers.
Catching plenty of fish, just nothing spectacular... Wintertime surf fishing is tough! :Envious:

Lots of Yellow Fin Croakers, Perch and short Halibut... most the bigger models have moved into deeper water this time of year and are tough to find. :Neutral:

Found a really nice hole clear of salad and it's full of surfers. :Angry:
Walked a little further down the beach and hooked onto a nice fish. Brought it to the edge of the sand before the LC popped loose... Looked like a legal Halibut between 23-25". :Crying:

Oh man, you talk about busy times. I don't know how I thought a simple bathroom remodel would be a slam dunk. One room finished and it just led to another and then the Boss decides to throw in a few suggestions she seen in some magazines and saw on television. I'm seeing more of a saw and hammer than I am a fishing rod and water. :Confused:

I'm glad to see you were able to find the time to make a run on a few beaches and bring a few fish to the sand! :Thumbs Up:

It's a very well built rod and feels pretty comfortable. The one that I'm testing is not suited for throwing the LC over long period of time. I gave them some specs that I would like to have and they are building a rod for me with those exact specs to test. I will put it in action as soon as I get it. :Wink:

My prayers are for comfort to Sid and phuong ,comfort that only god ,family,friends and time provide..this is one of the best reports I've read and one that gives a small snapshot of what i think this network is about,Great to see ,,Robert in action again,is that actually a picture of Chris or jimmy Stewart?chris has also managed to acquire the car of my dreams to boot,my waders are done ,I've fished 6months with huge holes in the boot feels kinda good ,anyway those boots are interesting,what a year ,I think we all got full use of our fishing license this year!!!!lotsobites!,,!,
