Thank you FNN!

Just noticed it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,now if we,l hurry and get some RAIN over there and get those ramps open,,,,,,,we can start putting up some reports here on the NEW page!

Just to spread the info,,,,,,,,,,Heres a link to the water situation at san/ton,,,,,The one I use anyway,,

http://www.mcwra.co.monterey.ca.us/Agency_data/ReservoirData/CurrentReservoirData/ReservoirData.pdf

My last report I was there when the lake was at 7% capacity,,,,,,,now its at 5% capacity,,,,still 5 miles of lake there so don't anybody worry,,,,its been there before and the fish survived just fine,,,,,im guessing that at abought 7% capacity the ramp will again be useable ,,,,,,,,,,c,mon springtime!

Yip it is looking very bad this is from NOAA:

California and adjacent areas in the Far West will be closely monitored this period. Patches of above-normal precipitation have been analyzed in southeastern California, but most of the state received less than half of normal precipitation during the last half of 2013, as did parts of adjacent Oregon and Nevada. From southern sections of California’s central valley to the coastal strip between San Francisco and Los Angeles, many locations recorded less than 25% of normal precipitation since late June. Both the January and January – March precipitation outlooks indicate enhanced chances for below-normal precipitation across much of the state and neighboring areas, thus drought is expected to persist or intensify.

The Eastern Sierra's will be a waste land for trout fishing and much of California not much better. 45% of the total snowpack in the Sierra's occurs from January thru March.

If we don't get LOTS of SNOW soon it's going to look like this in our fishing future.

If we don't get some "Frog strangling" rain and snow in the next few months we will have the driest season on record.
