Nice fish. I figured with the colder temps Nph was done. Where do you launch? I usually jump in down from the coast guard cutter but looking for some new real estate to explore.

Hey 951Fireman

Yeah ive heard some peeps say the bite turns off, but it seems pretty steady, i was out there again on tuesday and landed this......

I usually launch from the coast guard station as well, ive launched from the public dock directly across the way from the coast guard and from 10th st.....the other night i was out there and landed a barracuda....i was by the barge....

I have found that the bite is as good or better during the winter months. It may be that the crowds are down and the bay bass don't migrate anywhere.

I have had a lot of luck on the fools baits. I put them on a 1/4 oz darter head and have caught YFC and halibut with them. I still have to try the drop shot on them as I understand it really works.

You fish them off a tube also? ive never used a darter head on them but i will now...ive only used them on c-rig with split shots,

Where do you usually fish
