This is a good deal on a great reel!

I have the patriarch 9525 and I use it with my ultralight trout rod. I couldn't be happier with this reel. I decided to purchase the 9525 over the ci4 because the 9525 is actually lighter in weight. The 9525 has a magnesium body which allows it to be so light, which compared to the ci4 "carbon infused" body, magnesium being the better choice.

I paid full price for my reel and consider it a great investment. If anyone is in the market for a quality spinning reel, at $109, I would definitely pull the trigger on the patriarch.

You're right! Not sure when it sold out... But didn't think it would last long at that price.

Hope whoever one got one!
