I read that they stocked this week. any truth to that? or is it just too cold to be up there?

Snowed today and temps averaging in the teens. Brisk outside.

Season ended up there since Aug. (not sure) They don't stock up there during the winter months. You can fish there if you can withstand the colder temperature. I believe the beginning of the season is next Mar/April...

I fished up there over thanksgiving weekend people were getting limits and there's some browns also. It's nice up there
