Headed to the local jetty/bay again today to throw my xmas lc that i painted myself. There was very little bait in the water with birds being non-active, but lots of water movement. Threw the lc for about 20 minutes with no takers. Then my buddy Bill hooks onto a seagull flying by and as he was trying to free the bird my lc gets slammed. I felt the head shake then it starts taking some line. Just as she was in sight, she turns around and takes running off again. Finally got her beached and measured out to 18". No other hits the whole day but i rather be at the beach fishing for nothing than being at home. Enjoy!
