So took the day off from work and fished the public opener at LNL.
Did ok, 2 fish and quit at 1130.
It was raining and the fish were very close to shore so it was difficult to fish the hot spots without encroaching on the shore guys. (rented a boat)
I managed to pick off 2 fish by fishing the edges of the hot spots away from the shore guys, so at least beat the skunk.
I tried the inlet too for no action.
Was good bite if you could get your casts to within 10 feet of shore in certain areas.
At one point the hot spot was shoulder to shoulder from shore...
Water temp was 61 and visibility was very low in the water.
