6am. - 11.30am. Walking and casting two miles for one Halibut !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif Thats getting a little expensive !!! and that is not counting the
thirty five miles one way drive http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif Yet, when I used to fish
the summer San Diego tuna runs, I have seen guys get the skunk after
spending hundreds. !!! AUHHH !!! but it is all worth it just to be healthy
enough to get out there in the early morn. and enjoy standing in the
water and casting on a good conds. day !!! Threw the LC in an area
where I knew there was not any perch, but finally got the intended
target about 11.am. Then figured "Got to get at least SOME Perch http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_idea.gif
Can,t just get one fish, all that time ? So stopped at the perch spot area
to a super low tide just for the heck of it real fast, got a couple and left .
Think I am done with the BU coast for awhile, more Halibut in LBC, even
if they are mostly short !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Gorgeous sunrise picture.

Time on the water is always great even if you don't catch the quantity of fish that you hoped for.

Fishshep, avoid LB after it rains for at least 3 days. If we get a big rain then it can take over a week to clear up. lots of plastic bags. It can get real nasty down there. 2 major rivers dumping most of LA's runoff.

Nice going FS and great sunrise shot. Makes for a great way to spend a morning. By the title of your post, I thought you had donated some LCs to Poseidon. Just goes to show you...it coulda been worse.

Hey Daniel,
Don't feel bad Bro, I've driven hundreds of miles in a day, and didn't even catch one fish....:Embarrassed:
But we are here and healthy... <><
Take care,
