Carp Carnage At Local Hole

Took the kids to the park after school to give them a quick lesson in fly lining some night crawlers for beast carp. Both of them watched for the twitch and take and both kids set the hooks after watching for the sign. They're learning fast and will be fishing solo soon.

All fish caught on 6 lb Izorline, good line but after fighting each fish the line coiles up bad and has to be re rigged, to much stretch and stress on the line I guess.

The water here is still warm and the fish remain very active for now, soon they will be in their winter slumber, not yet though, this one got a little messy, see you out there and good fishing to you!!!!!

Very nice putting those kids on some quality fish. They look like the enjoyed a day of fishing by the smiles. Lifetime memories for sure, you are my "Hero" of the day, great job.

Glad to see the gold is still active and the kids are learning*different ways and baits useage...continue putting on class sessions soon you'll be able to see the friut of your work...carp on ! Quick question is there any other speices of carp in there like crucians , mirrors, grass, leathers or only commons

Those are great pics again. I love seeing your daughter with the fish. You are turning them on to some great fishing...or spoiling them forever. What a great idea using night crawlers for bait. I fished there twice trying to use tortillas and/or corn, and the foul fowls would not leave my bait alone. I'd given up, but now I'm gonna have to give the big worms a shot. #2 baitholder on the bottom?
