Second time trolling.

Last time I donated two umbrella rigs to the water Gods. Unfortunately , I donated two more today. This is getting expensive!

Out on the lake early. Decided to head west. Five minutes in the water , first fish on. Nice 6 lb. striper. Was marking fish left and right. Quickly caught 3 more over the next few hours. Two more 6 pounders and a small one.

The bite died around 9. I couldn't meter or find the fish. As I trolled in around 11,
I had a double hookup on the same rig. A 4 lb LMB and a 6.5 pound striper. I knew it was big and was hoping for my first DD, but wasn't meant to be. Maybe next time.

Where did you get that tiny Monster Energy Drink can?

Thank you.

And it was the only scale I had. Then I drank it.

How deep are you fishing with the U-rig and how much line to you let out?

Nice work out there on Mr. Stripey!

Thanks

Good questions!!!!! Once the secret is out, we will be able to clean out all the jailbirds in the bass lakes and return them to their former glory.

Nice job Surf! Thanks for the report and pics. It's definitely a bummer when losing rigs. And yes, it can get expensive! Looks like some nice fillets for dinner!
