Arrived to the first destination to find that the tide was to high and the shore was practically gone. Off to the next spot. It was high tide and the waves were about 1-3 foot. The water was a bit murky and it was overcast. Spot two was a much smaller beach but it looked promising. Started off with the usual LC.

These guys are pretty good fighters.
Shortly after that, I caught a small perch. Then the bite sorta shut off for like 3 hours.
Worked one last spot of the small beach and ended up catching 5 BSP biggest being 8 inches and 2 short hali on the sardine krocodile . I ended up losing it on a bad cast oh well at least its not a LC

What I learned from this trips is that even though the LC is great lure when there is a but load of kelp/grass in the water its best to use lures that have less hooks. :D

Spoons do work their way better through the weeds.. I always replace the treble with a larger single hook for even cleaner retrieves, and find the hookup rate doesn't suffer either..thanks for the pic post.

Nice job mixing it up. The LC definitely doesn't always take kindly to saladfests, but like you found out, that doesn't mean there isn't fish to be had.

Congrats!
