Just wondering what others have experienced as far as service and repairs on their boats. I have had some major and minor work done here on my pontoon with a Mercury 4 stroke outboard and I have had to take it back 2-3 times before they get it right.

Ouch.....Haven't used them yet. I've used BassPro's service center (located off site from the Rancho Cucamonga Store) for the past few years. Love them.

While they are not local for me they are more than worth the trip (Corona), they have done"World Class" work on my BassCat.

Don't tell da Quagga it's got 200HP she hates us "PRIVILEDGED" bass boat owners. The "You didn't earn that" crap is getting old.

If you live close to Sun Country try going in and ask for Mike Basso
he is the Owner
I am sure he would like to hear about the issues and he will make it right

It's the "Darwin" thing, only BIG and STRONG fish are caught, no schoolies or stocker chasers allowed.

ps: First one to the "Boils" WINS!!!!

So you're a boil chaser!!!!!!!! I always knew there was something up about you. In chasing boils ( I like to sit and wait for the boils to come up around me) but please remember, "DON'T GO CRASHING RIGHT UP TO THE BOIL" before you shut down, with all that power in your BassCat!!!!!!!!!! It scares the little fishes!!!!!! lol

"Boil Chasers Are Us" that has a nice ring about it. First one to the "Honey Hole" gets the fish. lol

Haha, well I can attest first hand to the handling capabilities of the "Redneck Rocket". Devo was working the tourney so I was lucky enough to be asked to captain his boat for the day and gladly and honorably accepted. The Vail Lake Veterans Day tourney was supposed to be a numbered start but due to the low lake level, the launch ramp was reduced to a single lane that was pretty tricky to launch and the start time got delayed by almost a hour. I drew #3 so I sat mid-pack to wait for my call to blast off. Well, the next thing I know is "GO"!!!!, it turned into a full on 50 boat blast off bomb run that would have made the best of the B-V desert racers proud, lol. So here I am mid-pack, pedal to the floor to get her on plane in 2-3ft high boat wake cross chop, well let's just put it this way, I had 2 of our finest and bravest loudly doing the giggle you do only when your scared half to death but enjoying every second of it. Not only did 200 horsies of two stroke torq put her right up on plane, the Redneck Rocket's hull handled a nightmare situation with aplomb and stayed straight and true. Big thanks to Devo for trusting me to take the reins of his boat. That was an e-ticket ride I won't forget...
