With low waves in the bu area, figured perching in the early morn

high would be a good idea, and as it turned out, could have stayed

for a while longer ,and just made it another multi- perch- catchin day

for all of todays session this time, yet remembering an old (Go to only on

the low) spot for a possible Hali, and having just bought a new LC (had to

because I lost the one I had before !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif ) my plan was to hook up

the REVO WINCH / PHONIX and LC set up to hunt for a possible Hali !!!

So After getting a little tired of perch catching http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif and thinking and

knowing "This Hali Hunt area is going to cost me a mile walk " BUT what

the heck ? tide is perfect for that spot ,if now, there is no weed when I

get there. http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif No real problems to deal with on arrival, and started

fan casting 100yds. to the left, and 100yrds to the right ,and standing in

five ft, of water NAILED A NICE ONE !!! http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Next low tide on my

next day off sometime will be back !!!

Good job out there Daniel,
I sometimes use the 128, but only when the water is a little deeper.
If not, it tends to drag on the bottom more and lose its swimming effectiveness.
Thanks for sharing,
Robert

Yeah, I was standing at the "Turners" LC rack looking at the depth ratio between the models (110 is maybe 3ft. ) but this 128 goes
5-6ft maybe, depends on the speed of the retrieve, but puts the bait right in their face !!! In open flat beach ,sandy bottom , where
I was fishing on the low tide that thing felt unreal !!! I could see it swim three feet off the bottom in 6ft. of water with the right retrieve
speed, because I was standing in five ft. of water !!! Next low in that area gonna do it again !!!

Another nice bag of fish there fishshep! That legal Hali will be coming along soon I'm sure!

Thanks for the fish report and I like that you've added some useful INTEL to your report. Nice!
