Made plans to hit the lake today and focus on the stripers. Had heard the lake was SLOW but off we went anyway. On water about 0620 and rigs in on the troll. Knock down about 30 min later and it's on. Thought it might be fowl hooked but as it came in and saw my partner grinning with the net-off it goes with 60 yds of mono. On the deck finally and a solid 6 lb fish. No interest in keeping it so back it goes and lines in again. And that was it. Worked the perimeter and keep the glasses up but no love. Weather was perfect and light breeze about 1100. No lost gear. There as probably less than 12 boats.
