Too cool! My son caught his first fish at about the same age a few months back over Fathers Day weekend at South Lake in the Sierras. I rigged up a sierra slammers Ball and chain, my wife cast the pole and was holding it while my son realed in. I looked over and saw the pole bouncing and said set the hook, that was the only trout we caught that day on our hike, Priceless!

Great times! He will have the fishing bug for sure know. A new fishing buddy for life. I took my grandson when he was 2 yrs old. Now I have to sneak out of the house to fish when he is visiting or he gets bummed if he finds out I went fishing without him.
