Hi all! Hit up NPH Monday morning on foot to see whats going on with my buddy John who is new to salt. Arrived at 0600 to an incoming 6 ft high tide at 0830. Upon arrival the conditions looked great, at least they looked great from my past experience. All in all it was very slow, my "go to" (those that know me know these spots) spots were not producing, so at 0800 we took the ferry to Balboa Is. to get some breakfast and check it out. As we were waiting for our breakfast I threw out a few casts and landed a small spottie near the ferrry landing. After we ate John wanted his first spottie so he got busy workingthe same area!

A cool shot during the fight.

We walked the north side from the ferry to Jamboree for no more fish. We were on a time limit so we headed back to the area the track was parked. Along the way I wanted to check out a few spots we already worked. Once back on the mainland John hooked up another small spottie.

We called it a day at 1200. It was a slow day but I was happy that John got his first Spottie and now has a touch of the "Spotted Fever".
Not sure why the fishing has slowed, even our winter time spots are not producing, maybe it will get better.
Late,
Eddie
