ok so i apologize in advance its been a while since i thought about posting so i forgot to take many pics, and i should have many more out of two days of fishing but i will be sure to have many more in future posts.
So i got to the lake on Thursday around 12:30 to start the line camp, and i was the first in line for a while. I seen all the VIP guys getting there grub on, on what looked smelled like a delicious lunch. It dint take long for others to show up so i wasn't alone for to long. Once i had my fill of mingling with the others in line and all my gear was squared away it was time to attempt to sleep.
once morning hit and i was up i found my self asking how i did this last year almost every weekend it was so cold and it hurt to think that it is only going to get colder very soon. I was in the float tube at about 6:15am the pre-dawn bite was not happening even though i was metering plenty of fish suspending in the middle of the 67 degree water column, but it was a complete different story once first light hit, the Bite was white hot, i hooked up on the Fools Bait Co Crazy Worms in pink on the drop shot almost the second the sunlight crept over the hills. The only problem was i left my net in the back of the durango, so the plan was to play him until he was tired enough to grab by the mouth like a bass, but this fish had other plans. After a while of keeping him in front of me the about 3lb bow was able to get him self off the hook. I noticed Bob Bar of BB Custom Rods was geting ready to launch his float tube so i was digging for my phone when my dead stick rod with a white Fool's Bait Co Yoke Sack in white and Fool's Bait Co. Crazy Worm in Orange got slammed but this time i was able to play the fish long enough so that i was able to lip grab him and get him on the stringer ( sorry no pic of this guy) so i called up bob and had him bring me out my net.
as i was kicking away from the end of the dock where bob handed me my net my dead stick rod got hit again but this time the fish dint stick to the hook. A few minutes later the drop shot got hit again but it was a very light bite almost dint realize that i got the bite. It was another about 2lb bow

by this time it was 830 almost and the bite had slowed down big time for every one but i managed to pick up my third fish using a Fool's Bait Co Crazy Worm in Hot Pearl white and a Red Crazy Worm on the drop shot and again it was a very light bite

i made a move in hopes of finding a bigger model. I was using a Fool's Bait Co Hawg seeker in the Pearl White Pro model and all i found was this Skinny bass

i shored up to use the restrooms and grab a snack. and was back at it so i decided to find a little deeper water and i picked up two more fish in short order and Both fish came on the Bubble Gum Pink Fool's Bait Co CW

with my limit cleaned up and on ice and my patty melt ready i was headed back out to the line to hang out with my good buddies from Team 57. we had a blast cracking jokes telling stories and talking strategies for the next day all while we did a little bbq.
DAY TWO
with morning hear it was time to start fishing again and it looked like the pattern was an exact replica from the day before the pre-light bite did not happen but once first light hit it was white hot and i picked up 2 very quickly on the drop shot of the Fool's Bait Co Crazy worm in bubble gum pink

and once again arond 8:30 the bite slowed way down so i moved out a little deeper this time it took a bit longer for to find the bite but i found one on a white yoke sack and orange crazy worm

with only one fish to be found i made my way further down the west shore where i ran into DynoDan and SirSnagsAlot i started talking with them and while we were chating they started picking up one fish after another so i asked what they were using and night crawlers were the ticket so i changed over to a Fool's Bait Co. Crazy Worm in the Bloody Earth Worm color and it dint take long and once again the drop shot produced for me
i tryed to get a pic of the bait in the fish moth but it was a little deeper in so it was hard to get a good shot of it but here it is

with 4 fish on the stringer and it getting to be 11 and two very late nights i decide to head back and if i pick up one more great and if not i was fine with it i had two days of great fishing under my belt and a night of good times with my buds the night before so i was happy to take all that and call it a day. but i dint have to i picked up my last one woot woot limit
