Local Park, Downey/Norwalk area 10/31/13

Had a blast and hope this is an indication of how well city park lake fishing will be. Will try to post pics if the site lets me, not mac friendly sometimes, tight lines.

Yeah, went there yesterday but got there too late, the night bite was no good, tried my lip ripperz pink, and orange worms, mini jigs, and only manged 1 in an hour, called it quits since i had to work early today.

Yeah if your talking about the lake or should I say pond I'm thinking about,it's usually pretty cleaned out in one or two days,sounds like you did well on the first day,WTG.

I caught my first Bluegil there when I was a kid back in the 80s it was a lot cleaner back then.

I would definitely call it a pond as well. It is not a lake by any means. It's strange that the DFW actually stocks this. How is it on stocking day or the next? Any room on the shore?

Didn't go to the park on stock day but heard it was good and I'm assuming there is enough room for everyone. Will get a photo bucket account soon and post pics. Hitting guasti lake Saturday morning, will report on that as well. Got the photos up using a photo bucket link, enjoy and good luck out there this weekend.

Go on dfg site it will tell you which week only but not the day. Have fun.
