The early AM bite was a little slow at VIP day, but started revving up about 8:30 AM, and kept improving. At 10:45 AM, it seemed like the entire lake went bendo.
Trollers did best with pink #4 Flicker Shads, but most of the usual trolling lures also produced, with firetiger and gold/black good. Fast trollers were the least productive, so slow it down a bit!
Casting gold/red Thomas Buoyants in 1/8 ounce size, and dropshot-rigged Power Trout Worms [pink] were also heavy hitters.
Power Bait tended toward chartreuse, but not a lot of this crowd used PB, and mini jigs were very slow.
Fish were quality-grade cookie cutter size, mostly 2 to 3 pounds, with a few 4's mixed in.
West shore toward dam and mid-lake were hotspots.
