View Full Version : PB falls in less than a week!

Had an epic day on the water last Saturday and with the night fishing window coming to a close I had to get out there at least one more time....GLAD I did!

Hit the lake by 4:30 with plenty of light left to scope out some likely spots....started along the West Shore before settling in along the mouth of Sierra Cove. GREAT call TaperSteve!

Caught quite a few fish in the 2-4lb range, Steve caught fire and started making me wonder if I was going to play "net boy" the rest of the night! :LOL:

Started to fish much larger baits to try and keep the rats away and it eventually paid off! :Big Grin:

17.3lbs of channel cat and a new personal best, safely released to fight another day!

Two personal Best catfish in consecutive weekends has to put this catfish season in the memory banks as one to remember. I have no doubt you'll continue the PB run into the trout season and then I'll bet we'll see you breaking it again next catfish season.
