Trying to go out to castaic this sunday. Never really fished for stripers but i want to give it a shot.
Ill be fishing off a ski boat so no trolling motor or baittank. Any advice on where to fish or what to use? Thanks

Try cut dines or chovies and bring an anchor with lots and lots of rope.
Since I assume you don't have a FF on the ski boat just bait and wait and pray.

Not a pro but when I go and do the rental thing. I start off just outside the marina with sardines or chovies. If thats not happening then try the bouy line..

try some points as well... and fresh sardines work best.

Lots a people baiting around kong island today,,,,,,,,,,mark,d a lot of fish there also,,,,,,,,you can see the island from the boat ramp,,,,,,,look for the monkey
