went today at the upper at the worst hours 10 to 1 no bites at all i was using a lc 100 sp on a shad pattern and a 4 inch huddleston shad pattern. The water level was very low today I was there last week and it was higher as I was walking along the shore I saw these two fish which I have never seen before and I'm wondering if anyone knows what type of fish it is.http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k631/5janet1990/efrebb_zpsc2b4f303.jpg (http://s1119.photobucket.com/user/5janet1990/media/efrebb_zpsc2b4f303.jpg.html)http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k631/5janet1990/efremm_zpsbebff84e.jpg (http://s1119.photobucket.com/user/5janet1990/media/efremm_zpsbebff84e.jpg.html)

Looks like a sculpin, I've seen them in the lower lagoon too. Tons of them in lake gregory and bbl.

Are they legal to use as bait?

Are they legal to use as bait?

No. As far as I know only longjaw mud suckers and takin shad are legal finfish in Southern District fresh water.

Sorry I didn't mean to say to use them for bait. I just find them in Striper bellies sometimes when I clean them. Especially duct striper.
