Huge Northern Pike Fall Fishing - Video/pic

I got back last weekend from two weeks of visiting with the family and fishing in Canada. Did a lot of Fall Fishing which I have not done before. Fall is notorious for big fish and I had done all the research and was bound and determined to catch one. Well my dreams came true when I nailed a Huge Northern Pike caught fishing in Alberta Canada last week. This fish was caught on a chilly day, overcast and rainy. I was using a large Rapala shad Lure. This large pike was released to swim another day.

That's a gorgeous fish Doc. Congrats and good job!...Gahhh, I'm going to visit family in Minnesota in early summer next year for a couple of weeks. You just sent my anxiety level off the charts, lol. We always target Smallies, LMB's and Trout, but the Wally's and NP's always hit the deck as well. It's truly an anglers paradise up there...
