View Full Version : Anyone know when Mountain Lakes Resort stocks trout?

If I am correct its usually sometime in October but im not sure. Anyone that has a membership and that goes there know? I hope soon because those tailwalkers they stock are some good fighters. Thanks guys.

No worries, prob not, i'll see how it goes. EVERYONE is going from all the bait co.'s so it should be fun but crowded to say the least.

Yea everyone is talking about it. I will be there for sure. 250$ really isnt worth fighting the crowd.

Catchin a 20 lbr might be though. Gotta fish that straight braid in those crowds :Envious:

Haha naw I will just have my big uncle cut everyones line or push them in the lake lol.

Naw lol and yea they put some nice 15-16 lbers in for the derby I just hope no one is trying to snag them like every other derby lol. To many people trying to win these derbies these days.

That's the cool thing about the bait co.'s fishing it, most of them are 100% real and aren't afraid to call out the bs that goes on

You have to be accompanied by a member to fish there. Went there 9 times last season and fishing was real tough. Pulled one trout out of the 9 times and each time I went only saw one out two caught out of the whole day. They got something going on with the water that the trout weren't adjusting to their lakes. Real tough fishing up there.
