Well couldn't stay long this am in the BU, but was able to get the Mrs. out to join me for a short sesh on the sand with one member of the BU crew Robert.
Conditions:
Arrived around 7:15am after making some crabs and the waves were pretty small, off-colored water, and some small clumps and bits of salad around to make you move around a bit. No big gravel beds. Some smaller patches of gravel at the edge to be had scattered down the beach. No wind at all yet (supposed to have high wind warnings starting tonight until Sunday) and overcast skies. No birds either.
We all pinned on some medium SCs and started getting into the small/medium perch right away. Bite was pretty consistent on the inside and edge along gravel beds. No biggies, so made a few stops working our way downcoast.
Got to our last spot and had some good takedowns! The Mrs. connected with a decent one and put up a healthy fight... She landed this one.. And was pretty happy with the result:

Anyhow, she caught the biggest of the am.. Beating out Robert and I... And she was pleased knowing that.
Had to call it at 9:15am.. Just after peak high-tide... So said our adieu to Robert and headed off. Robert later said the bite really shut down after we left/high tide.
Well... Until next time... Thx for reading guys.
