HG5 Good Times

[City Girl]

Today was the HG5 annual fishing derby. Before I tell you how much fun I had I would like to say some thank yous. Thank you to all the SWAT members for making this a success, thank you to my dad for helping me every year, thank you to all the donor for the awesome fishing swag, thank you to everyone who has supported me I appreciate it, and thank you to Arthur for encouraging me to do my best and always making sure we have fun. I would also like to congratulate ALL the winners and even if you didn't win you are all winners at heart, congrats to my Little sister Lilah for winning 2nd place (more competition next year JUST KIDDING). Okay here goes a report, so I didn't win this time around, but I appreciate you all believing in me and I am happy for those who did win!!! I will always try my hardest when it comes to fishing. I caught 6 perch and my sister caught 4 perch and a leopard shark we mainly used blood worms and gulp. It may have been a slow day but it was defiantly AMAZING. I know that Dana was looking down at us and I am 100% sure he is proud, and I am positive his amazing spirit will live on forever. Thank you to everyone for everything!!! I had a blast, you are all amazing!!!!

This report is what it is ALL ABOUT....Family, Friends, Fun and Fishing. Kelly.....You will always be a crowd favorite. Your spirit is second to none and your little sister Lilah ...I could see the pride in her eyes.....She has a great role model in you big sis!

What a great report and pics. Kelly! Congrats to your sister Lilah on her second place finish! Your dad has done a great job turning you two girls into great anglers. You still have quite the legacy of your own and I expect great things in the future for both of you. Glad your family had a great time as did we. This is what it's all about, thank you very much for posting this report.
I hope everyone gets a chance to look at it because I feel its a great example of what Hunting Giants is all about.
Look at the smiles on your faces! This makes me feel like the event was a complete success.
I believe this is Lilah's first HG event, and by the looks of it, she had a blast and this will definitely not be her last. Way to teach her the ropes :Thumbs Up:

I am so happy that you and your family had a good time.
A lot of the S.W.A.T. guys were wondering if you were going to take a fourth title this year.
It wasn't meant to be, but I could see the proud look in your eye, when you sister placed and took home a trophy.
