For those of you that fish bass regularly and have been year over year, what is the pattern for bass over the next couple months as the water starts to cool off? Seems like I keep hearing that these tough hot months are followed by a wide open bite. But what kind of bite? Where does the bait go during these months?

Any advice on DVL for the rest of the year would be appreciated.

Thanks

the bait goes shallow spawns the retreats to deep water for the winter ,the silversides are all over the banks , and i actually spoted some threadfin schools in close also,,,,,,that was monday,,,,,,,,,,,,,T/O,,,,,,,,,,

A "go to" rig for the Winter is the Carolina Rig....also swimbaits produce pretty well. But the Rig fished in 40-65+ ft during the Winter is and always has been a DVL Witer Killer!!
