Had to get out and get my feet wet this morning after multiple failed attempts to make it to the beach this week.
Arrived at 6am to clear skies, no fog!!!!
Swell was more relaxed than over the weekend although there was a lot of salad clogging up the beach, took a while to find
a clear locale, and had to move a bit to stay out of some big snags.
Slow action at first but as the sun peaked up, some fish began to notice my bait.
Ended up with some YFC, Shovelnose, and a thornback ray (first I have caught up here mostly seen them down by San Clemente)
Also found a dead thornback washed up on the beach with a big old hole in its belly, and seriously there was a skunk walking the beach :EyePop: what!!!!?
