Conditions:Rough with over my head stealth breakers blending in with the fog :EyePop:, 50 - 50 clean water and brown dirty water and so  I just fished around the dirty. The fog never lifted. A constant fog horn sounded thru the soup. The beaches were so flooded that it kept me at least 40 feet back from hitting my spots with the LC!

Gear: Saint Croix Avid 9'-6" 8-17 lb MF, Van Staal VS-100G reel with 55 lb 8-carrier braided Diawa Samurai line.
AO (Area of Operation): Undisclosed, LA County
I descended in on my first AO at 0610 hrs and fished it hard for an hour with out even a bump! I tossed in the white flag and proceeded on to ascend "Heart Attach Summit" and head to my next AO.
I took a few pictures along my hike to my next AO.
I thought it was pretty cool the way the fog collected on the strands of the spider webs.

This lil' Cottontail wasn't bothered by me at all .... he just kept on digging like he was on his third cup of Starbucks coffee!
http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff467/dancorery/P1000030.jpg (http://s1237.photobucket.com/user/dancorery/media/P1000030.jpg.html)
There were only a few of these wild flowers left .... so I thought that I'd capture one last shot before they were all gone.
http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff467/dancorery/P1000035.jpg (http://s1237.photobucket.com/user/dancorery/media/P1000035.jpg.html)
I descended into my next AO and fished it hard, fan casting, dissecting the kelp like a dentist doing a root canal, I worked the boilers tight and all the while avoiding the stealth (fog hidden) breakers! I had one line pull and that was it ... gone! Oh well! I fished here for 1 1/2 hours and decided that nobody was home and that I should head for home myself ... and call it a day!
Bog Fog! When the sun started to rise above the bluff ... it was like having one's bright beams on in the fog .... I could hardly see a thing!
http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff467/dancorery/P1000034.jpg (http://s1237.photobucket.com/user/dancorery/media/P1000034.jpg.html)
So I decided to give up on anything ever happening here today (Yes ... I gave up!) and I began my accent back over the top of "Heart Attach Summit" and once I was at the top I decided to try some new :EyePop: trails that I've never attempted!
I ran in to a lot of dead-ends and I did a lot of back trailing. Bottom line .... the only way out of these mazes of dead-end-trails was only on the one trail that lead me right back to the water's edge ... and at my first AO!! At the personal domain of Poseidon himself! :EyePop::LOL:
"Well"! .... I said to myself .... "as long as I'm here ... why not give it one more try"! :Big Grin: "It must be a sign from ......."!
So I'm wet again at 0900 hrs and by 0920 hrs .... now reeling-in with a broken spirited slow retrieval in the dense fog........ when ...

A legal and 10 more team points! Thank you Poseidon! FYI: The Hali was CPR'd quickly.
Thanx for checking out my fish report!
I'm looking forward to meeting all of the new faces and all of my old friends and family at HG-5! I'll see you there!
