3/4 Day yellowtail

Tuesday 9/10/13 left on the San Diego Seaforth landing 530 am started fishing about 930 am first patty about 20 minutes later full of yellows and mahi mahi hook ups all around for the 38 passengers. Several kelps later and many caught and lost fish limits of yellowtail about 5 to 12 lbs. and 4 mahi mahi 7 to 20 lbs. and a mako shark. A great day of fishing for all and great crew. If you get a chance go out why the bites hot!!!::Big Grin: Fishing around 302 325 area lots of kelps full of fish!!!

Wow, congrats on a epic 3/4 day trip. That is great news. Too bad they aren't bigger class YT's.

Took a client on the San Diego Wed. and also got limits of Yellowtail. Only one big enough to require the gaff, but fun fishing just the same and the Hamachi was wonderful. Better than anything you get in the restaurant. Really like the San Diego. Newer boat, captain and crew really helpful and tried hard to get fish for everyone. Might try it again if the tuna migrate closer. 8 year old boy on board got a yellowtail and his eyes were as big as saucers when the fish took off on a run. Really something to see him fight that fish.
