Trout season

Hi all,

I know this maybe a little to early to ask as catfish season is still going strong, but when will trout season begin? Last season I fished the other pay lakes and never tried irvine during the season. I'm assuming when weather permits it, thats when the season will officially start?

october 31 for the vip day, and november 1st for actual opening day

Waters about 83* now. We're going to have to have a major cool down before then for trout.

it'll definitely be awhile. it was way hot with very little or no cloud cover. Algae blooms are abundant warming the water even more. Green Valley Lake did a algae weed kill in the lake about a month back and the algae is already coming back since it is so warm.

the weather got to chill and the water temp drop to drop trout in the local lakes. i hope it cools soon cuz i can't keep drivin up to the mountains to fish for trout and the local lakes are too damn hot!

I did some research on weather info today and got a month long forecast into mid-October and the temps don't look like it will get below the 70s as a high at all. so trout drops probably not until November. that's my guess.
