"The Manzanar Fishing Club" is returning to the Big Screen! In our first theatrical screening in nearly a year, we will be one of the highlighted features of The International Fly Fishing Film Festival Friday, Sept. 20, as part of the 2013 Fly Fishing Faire in Mammoth Lakes.

Renowned fly fisherman Mas Okui (who was introduced to fishing at Manzanar) and writer Richard Imamura will be on hand for a special Q&A session following the screening at the Minaret Theater.

The Fly Fishing Faire is one of the premier annual fly fishing events in California, set this year for the weekend of Sept. 20-22. The Faire features non-stop fly-fishing with films, clinics, workshops, casting, fly-tying, vendor displays and sales as retail stores close-out 2013 merchandise. In addition, Federation of Fly Fishers conservation education opportunities will be offered, ranging from Trout-in-the-Classroom to Scouts to stream restoration.

The film festival will be held Friday, Sept. 20, at the Minaret Cinemas, located at 437 Old Mammoth Road, Mammoth Lakes. (We will screen at 6:00pm.) It will be our first theatrical screening since the AMC Empire 25 theater in Times Square at the end of September last year.

Come out and enjoy the film in its full glory--on the Big Screen in HD video!... Meet some of us who made the film as well!

Please come and meet the Writer/Producer Richard Imamura
