Got off work and went straight to work, still in most of my uniform, hit one spot for nada. Met some guys new to the duct... Good Luck out there guys! Went to my second spot and got hit on my first cast but missed it. The jerk ripped my batman fluke(yellow 1/4oz head with black fluke) in half. so I reloaded with a pearl white and walked about 50 feet into the open water and about 10 casts later I got hit again and my rod loaded up. Peeled drag pretty good and was about a 5 min fight... I was being extra carefull... Pulled out a sweet 27" 7lber... beat my PB by over a pound, and was the first striper landed on a fluke in the AV... I gave out a loud victory WOOOHOOO, then went home right after to change my underwear...lol...

left my cellphone at home so no fresh from the water pics but here's some when I got home...

Man I hope so! I have a feeling that this is going to die off pretty soon... The full moon/t-storm combo seemed to have the fish all hot and bothered... But I dont know, here's hoping...

Nice catch, congrats on the PB.

Why is it that it's so hard to get the first one, then it's much easier after that.

Just believing that one will hit seems to contribute much.

I was rock hard the whole time lol... I'm going to be out in the mornings this weekend to make it happen!
