Got to make it quick 'cause me and the old man Sid heading for lunch.

AO: Classified
Conditions: beautiful - but neither high nor low tide...right in between.
Time: 5:30 am to 8:15 for me and Sid???

Arrived at 5:28 and I see Sid is trying to beat me down there! Hey! Wait up Sid!

Got to the AO and started casting in the spot where PTN caught a corbina on the LC and his friend caught a 28" halibut. Hooked into 4 guitarfish and 2 shorts.

Sid hooks into a fish, it is bending his rod somewhat but he sure is reeling the little guy in slow....eventually, we see it is a short. What's that Sid? Your back gave out from trying to release the short? Let me help you! :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Moved around a bit, but no VIP's wanted to play today. Caught this guy who tried to sting me and ended up stinging himself! Better you than me sir!

I had to take off for work and Sid wanted to play a little longer. Nothing but shorts today. :No Pity: Still, a great day to hit the sand with a brother! Hope you got something after I left Sid!

All fish released safely except for the stingray (he'll survive). Total fish count: 5 shorts, 4 ukeleles, one dumb@$$ stingray and whatever else Sid caught after I left. Got to work, checked my e-mails, responded to most, prepared some docs and now I am off to meet up with Sid for early lunch (you know, old people meal times). JK Sid! Seriously, for all of youngins that think you are in shape and can fish hard....You ain't got nuthin on this guy! Sid, you da man!

Sid is Da Man! Not as fast as a Hare, more like a Tortoise, but always finish the race ahead of everyone else. :Envious:

I didn't hit the surf at all this past weekend. But got kidnapped and force to do some bait and wait fishing for Catfish Saturday night, lol :LOL:

Ken, Ken, Ken... I remember when you were fishing hard just to fight the skunk. Now you're fishing to fight off the short fish! It's good to see the both of you hitting the surf hard. Team Butt Heads needs a miracle this week to stay in the game.

Pfft...Don, you are my friend. We talk almost every other day. You know that I have been hitting the surf almost every day this month. One pancake a day is potentially 30 points a month and it looks as though I have more than 30 points on the board for this month. :Neener Neener: You guys can't exploit that hole forever...it will eventually (and hopefully soon) die off. Watch your back friend!
