9/17/07 cor, isl. 3/4 day. DOGS SUCK

so ron (blackspartan) and i both had the day off work and he just bought a new set up and he wanted to go try it out. and i went on the boat on sat and we saw a lot of yellows so we decided to go out of san diego. different crew from the weekend, seemed like the b team, the weekend crew was a lot better on helping out and being friendly. but it was all good. first stop bonito wfo open for about 20 minuts till the dogs showed up, one or two yellows caught first stop. and it was kinda slow on everything. consitant bite but not close to wide open. a lot of bonito and a couple nice bass. i picked two nice bass up my self. then we have about an hour left and we pull up to the first island and dump a bait tank. and 5 minuts later yellows boiling everywhere. i hook up bring the fish in twenty feet from the boat its a nice 20 pound class fish and then the dog gets it. ans strips me. .. ef'n dog. then i hook up afteri get new line on and i landed a nice 21 pound yellow. caugtht on a mac.

then im mostly tryiing to get ron one trying to get him to cast into the boils. and then he hooks up and its a big one. i think almost 30. it was huge. he gets it right by the bait also and the dog gets it. spools him and we watch as the dogs throw there catch and brag that they stole our fish. .

overall great day. lots of fun good fishing. final count

and 4 or 5 kites. haha

Got it on a mac huh? Glad you paid attention saturday. I think 2 yellows were caught on few of the mac they did have.

Did you also get a new setup? Dont tell me you got it on the Moses Rod.

haha one_leg good one. ya at least i got head this weekend.

i caught it on the spinner. i told you all i know how to work the spinner with light line. trout fishing all my life has gotten me very used to fishing big fish with lighter line.


mike, tell you the truth i didint know any one got any yellows on the macs on sat lol. i just knew they like macs so i saw it and threw it out. it was the perfect size just bigger than the sardines.

Wow. Brad have I ever told you how proud I am of you. Good Job Slater, you've slayed the yellowtail. But I know you didn't catch it on purpose. You were catching mackeral like you usually do and then the yellow took your catch.

oh ya it gets soaked that why i wear sandels so my feet dont stay wet, when there is blood all over the deck the deckies want to spray it off so it doesnt stain.

I'd like to deny the postponment of this matter. The NB Union has spoken thus making the decision final. The protesters LA Smoker and CrystalMethHead909's views have been expressed and have been denied.
