Pound test for irvine lagoon

Going fishing with my little bro, (7) and would like to know the lowest pound test that would be okay to use at the kids lagoon ? i only have light rods, ultra light, and one medium. Any tips ?

I second what pitman said. 6# test should be fine for the lagoon.

go anyway. A day of fishing with your little brother is way better than anything else regardless if you catch any or not
