After 2 unfortunate incidents, I have a spinning rod with no reel, and a casting reel with no rod after tonight. I have fishing plans for my birthday this weekend, and need to replace my broken casting rod. I want a good quality rod, and I'm willing to add $$ with the clarus. I prefer going up in quality, if not a clarus casting rod would be great. Specs for the casting rod needs to be 12-18# rating, and preferably 9', but will consider a 8'6.

My shimano clarus spinning rod specs.
Length 9'6"
Line 8-12
Lure 3/8-3/4 oz
Power medium
Action fast

I was using this as my universal surf fishing rod since it was light enough for perch, and heavy enough to throw LCs. After breaking the tip at the Hunting Giants 4 event, shimano replaced it with a brand new 1. I then went on a fishing hiatus and literally used it 3-4 times since. It is still in perfect condition, with no rash at all. PM me please.
