Lake Gregory tournament - winner!!!!!

Went to the Lake Gregory tournament on Saturday. Went out on the kayak with my dad. We caught a few trout on powerbait and some catfish on nightcrawlers early, then pretty slow. In the last 20 minutes of the tournament, I had a nice hit on the powerbait in front of the marina. Hooked it up and started to reel it in. As my dad got the net, I saw the fish come to the surface. It had a tag in it! I pulled it up and my dad got the net under it. We went to the shore and weighed it. Not very big but 1.75lbs. It won the tournament as the biggest fish and the tag got me a hundred dollar check :Big Grin:

All in all.....fun day fishing, and nice surprise to win the tournament. Sorry, no pics. Had trouble uploading them.
