today i decided to go fishing after work and try my luck at catching my first legal. Lost a potential legal about a week ago so i was back for revenge. Hooked a short 18" then worked the area for about 15 more minutes and hooked onto a 25"! Halibut was caught on a LC sexy smelt.

She's a beauty. 25" is a fantastic first hali! Nice fish!

Congrats on getting that First one.
My first one was only a few years ago and I can still remember it. Been hooked ever since.

Congratulations on your first legal! I've been wanting to try out the Sexy pattern but haven't had a chance. Seems to do well for a lot of people. Hope to see more reports from you.
