I managed to stop by Eldwayen Park today to check out the tidepools and rocks for anything that swam. The result of my little venture was this little Cabezon that fell for a BH grub in pumpkinseed color.

lol it a baby cab. Although one of my family members did catch a baby Midshipman up in Morro Bay. When she brought it up I just burst out laughing.

Nice catch!!! ill be out in Pismo tomorrow going camping there, OCEANO DUNES, do you happen to know where some goods spots to fish would be, i have that same BH grub....ill give that one a shot, hopefully i get on something....

Thanks Tony. For Perch I'd go near the pier and fish right where the waves crash. The Walleye perch are THICK under the pier, but you didn't hear that from me lol. Early in the AM you have a shot at larger BSP and Redtail perch in the exact same area. I didn't honestly try to fish the surf too hard as the water was too dang cold for me! Kill it out there dude! The fish here are not that educated!
