a/z got ahold of me a while back he wanted to hit the wood ,brush up on some trolling then give the bait thing a try. i worked out i picked up mike on the way to the lake and we were on our way. we hit the water already to go , mike wanted to get to bait spot but i asked him if we could troll to the spot and check things out. cleghorn was popping with tiny stripers boiling ,so we moved on as soon as we left there it was wide open on the troll the schoolies were everywhere slamming one rig after the other. i wanted to kill but mike was in a kind mood so we just popped them off reset the rigs and kept on rolling , the trolling was red hot we could have did the double limit thing in less than an hour . the water looked really nice and sat at 72 degrees all day. so with all that action on the way thwere we were pumped up when we let them anchors slam the bottom and the meat started to fly. was had to toss so many super dinks it wasnt funny , as the day wore on mike took some here and there for tacos. every time we got a good one it was fun on the light tackle. so when it was to to go we decided to troll back it wasnt very long and we getting lit up again mike finished the day with a double hookup , the stripers were lucky mike was a nice mood today. thank you mike for going out and i had a great day of fishing,,,,,,,,,,,bob,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Still slaying!

You're the man Bob.

I don't think most people appreciate how hard it is to go from lake to lake and put it all together the way that you do.

Right on Bob! I knew you were going to hit the wood soon. You tore it up. It makes it so difficult to decide where to go between Castaics hot bite and now your report. I love it! Stripers die every where you go.

You the Man!!!

It's hard not to just expect you kill it every time out Bob.

Your reports may take place at different lakes and have different characters but its always the same old story... Slay, Slay, Slay!

The funny thing is... I can never wait till your next report. Keep em coming!

Thanks again Bob,
It was just what the doctor ordered. I know we could have killed some bigger units on the troll, but it was the therapeutic part of the bait & wait I was looking for. I know it broke your heart to throw all those fish back in, but with the summer work schedule I was just too tired to clean 20 fish when I got home. I had a great time and looking forward to going back in Sept.

there is still no fish in Silverwood, I think the ones we got were just pumped in the night before when they were filling up the lake.

Gotta love those Silverwood chops!! We're new to boating, so it was quite a challenge for us and a 25ft pontoon.
