Fact is the Bako anglers need your help. The Bako boys, Trailblazer and Cutbait are running roughshod in the summer derbies that Bobs Bait bucket are holding.

First it was the June Striper Derby.... Won by Cutbait...

This is where the humility starts... It seems as Trailblazer has claimed August win already. August is Carp month, and in good conscience we cannot go for the summer sweep without a fair competition.

I will emphasize, Trailblazer has made his mind up to win this thing. If you don't know, when he sets his sights on it, its going down!

What I am saying is with a pop. of 350,000 here in Bakersfield, the odds just doesn't stack up well against us. For a fair fight, 1,000,000 vs 2 is something we consider fair?

So if all of FNN enters the derby, by our math the population of LA county and the POP of Bakersfield would put it in the 10's of millions vs 2? A number we feel better attempts at matching our skills.

So, we ask that you all compete and lets have some FUN!...

REMEMBER!! If you missed June's event, we will be holding another "meet and greet" in the fall

I will admit however this post has ulterior motives.

The PM's I've recieved convinces me to come clean about it.

The real motivation behind drawing FNN and LA county into the Derby is simply to increase pot size.

254 bucks just isn't going to cut it. A pot with 10's of millions of participants and a value of that same number is by far a more accurate prize for the bako boys when we win it at the end of the month.
