7/30 New A. O.

5.30am feet hit the water to try a new area !!!

Took me sixty miles one way to get there , fished and Re-Conned .

Figured Hali might go for the swimmy in this area and Lo and Behold,

did manage to get one in this unfamiliar area. Water was so clean I could see a for sure Legal following my Swimmy !!!

Ten feet in front of me, he turned away :Confused::Rolls Eyes::LOL:

Farmed a huge Sandy, :Angry: Line was tight !!! just don,t know how he got off !!! :Confused:

After fishing, drove around and checked out adjacent areas, and looks like I will be

going to this A.O. for a while to dial it in !!! Going tomorrow too :Big Grin:

Not to much catchin today, (needs a lower tide sometime) but sure was nice in the new area !!!

60 miles one way is a lonnnngg drive. It paid off and you have a new AO to fish at and you even got some nice fish on your first try. Thanks for sharing once again. :Cool:

That is a healthy looking spotty!!! Nice hali too. I've yet to catch anything on a bighammer so this encourages me too keep trying. I'm glad you found success on your recon.

You always seem to be able to pull out a nice spottie, hali, or perch wherever you fish :Big Grin:
Too bad about the sandy, but still a good recon session.
