SWAT Brotha's Final Efforts For This Months Team Points!

[SP Dan]

This is more of a conditions report without pic's :Wink:.

Duration: Feet wet from 0450 to 1000 hrs.
Moon Phase: Waning Gibbous.
Sun Rise: 0603 hrs, Sun Set: 2000 hrs.
Air: 65 deg, Water: 60 deg, cooling down slightly.
Surf: 1-2 ft, Swell: 1.5 ft, Sec Intervals: 9
Conditions: (At 1st AO 0450 - 0550 hrs) flat, clear and clean at first and by 0600 filthy, dirty and un-fishable, salad on every retrieve,
(At second AO) very clean with a small amount of lure mustache on a few retrievals, water clear and very fishable at first then became dirty with more salad with incoming tide.
Tides: 0450 hrs OGT 2.6 ft, 0515 hrs OGT 2.4 ft, 0630 hrs OGT 1.6 ft, 0806 hrs LT 1.3 ft, 1000 hrs ICT 2.0 ft, 1100 hrs ICT 2.7 ft.
Isolunar Forcast: Major Period: 0444 to 0714 hrs. :BFish::BFish:
Assault Tactic: LC 110 (Pattern undisclosed)

1st AO 0450 - 0550 hrs for NADA and I had almost lost another brand new LC 110 :EyePop:. I had to cut a branch off a downed tree, then I waded out and freed it from under the boiler from where it was stuck and also having to deal with the in coming waves made it more difficult! :EyePop: I kept loosing sight of it! :Shocked: I was really relieved to have gotten it back! :Big Smile:
I decided to assault the quick route over "Heart Attack Summit" and had my feet wet at my next AO by 0620 hrs.

I had a pleasant surprise waiting on me once I looked down on the AO to evaluate it ..... NT was already down there fishing in the salt.
I hollered down to John from on top, waved my arms over my head at him and I then made my way down to the salt!

Note: It's always nice to fish but it's just better :Wink: with a friend!

I asked John if he's had any luck so far and he smiled at me .... yup! ... (1) short Hali and a few short YFC's so far. WTG John :Thumbs Up:!
John invited me to drop in and I ended up with (2) two healthy short Hali's and a short YFC. (2) two more points for my team! Yahoo :Dancing Banana:!!

John ended up beaching (1) one more fat healthy Hali while we were together ..... measured it twice at 21 3/4" .... dang ...so close!!! I took john's picture of he and his flat fish of the right kind! I believe that John had earned (2) two more points for his team also today :UDaMan: John quickly CPR'd it and we returned back to casting for no more luv! .... John and I were a push for team points today!

Had to get out to help my teammates score some points, hey we gave it a go and ended up off setting each other.........:ROFL:

No worries, was a excellent morning and company.......nice report Mr. Corey (Danimal), thanks for sharing ............ here's what pics I have. You'll have to ignore the quality, my camera died on me and I was using my iPhone shooting thru the waterproof case.....sucks..........Hmm, wonder if they'll raffle off a waterproof cameras at HG5????:Idea::???::!!!:

So I'm driving to my intended A.O. and pass by your car at 4:45 thinking, "wow, Dan got an early start. There's not even a hint of light yet.":Shock: My excuse for being out that early...might as well stay up and get out early since I had to change and feed the baby anyway.:Wink: Sounds like you did some hiking but managed to get some points on the board. Way to go man! On the way home I was passing by John as he was packing up his car and stopped to chat a while. Seems that you guys ran into the same conditions as we did with the water being a little cloudy. Nice going out there and we'll see how this month ends up...still a couple of days left with a tight race at hand.

Hi ya Bill ..... It may have to do with that we openly share our hot spots with each other ... and that not every foot of coast line in Socal will produce. So ... we all know which areas that are producing and head there!
