Struggled Thursday the 25th, I decided to fish late Saturday and launched at noon. Fished the north end, and found the wind was starting to blow pretty good. Set up threw the jig in 25-30 feet for a few fish in the 2-3 pound class. As the wind grew stronger, I started chucking the slide swimmer parallel to the bank targeting the muddier banks. Lots and lots of followers with this bait, and it's cool to see the wolf packs of fish but very frustrating as they wont eat it. I just kept chucking and finally connected, nothing big but ended up with a healthy fish just over 5 pounds. Just got to keep grinding out there guys, fall is coming and the dog days of summer will soon be over. Thanks for reading.
