This was something I was luckily enough to stumble upon about 22 years ago while on vacation in Carpenteria... and I have vivid memories of it. Now that I'm a dad with my own family, I'd like to take my kids to see this. I checked the DFG website regarding time tables and would like to go to the run later this week (either Tues or Wed) if possible.
Now, my question is... what beaches in Ventura County could I go to and expect to see the grunion running? Any beach between say Malibu and Ventura Pier would be fine. Any suggestions?
