Fishing Lake Cachuma 7-26, HELP

Hello Everyone,

So this weekend 7-26 i will be camping Lake Cachuma with the wifey for her bday, we got a waterfront spot so why not take advantage and bring all the gear to fish but ill need some help.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what kind of lures, baits are working, Id like to target bass and catfish......

Also does anyone know if the trout are still active...

Last year I went to lake cachuma to camp also and i killed it with nightcrawlers. i caught mostly small mouth bass ,Largys and also carp so i say you go with that .. bait & wait with nightcrawlers. I also heard about people catching trout too but i didn't fish for them
