Back for more Beans N. OC

After yesterdays lost fish I headed back for some redeeming this morning. Didn't go all as planned. First cast I hook up and after peeling off some line, the fish pops off. I gotta stop this nonsense. A little later I spot 2 corbns swimming together, I pitch a crab beyond them, and BAM , I'm on. I fight it for a few minutes and when I saw color I realized it was the bigger of the 2. Easily over 20". I get him into the shallows and beach him when a wave comes on shore. He starts flopping and breaks the line and does a self release before I can grab him. I fish the same area and actually land 2 more. Great weather and a lot of fun. These guys are addicting to go after on light line.

I've always wanted to try and target some beans but it's hard for me to lay down the trusty lc! For sure a blast on light line. :Big Grin:

Getting Bean fever after reading your post's. Good job.
Personally I get bored after 1/2 hour tossing a LC.

Oooo. I haven't used sand crabs to target Corbinas yet but I think I should give it a shot soon. Sounds like a lot of fun.
